Brooks is a cowl that is partially knitted in the round and flat but all in one piece. Simple stitches used, yet lovely details created. This piece grows quickly with three different needle sizes. Accented with 3 detailed buttons. Wear it as an accessory over your shoulders or double it up for those cooler days around your neck. Changes in colors, yarn weights and stitch patterns make your Brooks cowl a textural and colorful delight.

One size, though can easily be made bigger. See the NOTES section on Page 3, explaining how.
Of course more yarn will be needed. Size flat, blocked as shown: Bottom border, 46”, height 11.5”.

Yarn
As shown, 1 Layers cake in 10 varying textures, colors and yarn weights, plus an extra 20 yards in a sport weight was used.
Knit kits with everything
included (see photo above) available at www.yarnz2go.com

Alternatively use your stash in any yarn weights ranging from fingering, sport, DK and worsted weights and any color combo. A tone on tone combo may be lovely too. 11 portions of 20 yards each. Start and end with a sport weight.
