As knitters we all dread a dropped stitch, but in this project they are completely intentional. Dimples and puffs are created with a simple stitch technique. A smooth solid yarn is best for this piece.

Finished Measurements
Circumference at brim band 16 inches (41 cm), 8.5” (22 cm) in length from unrolled brim edge to crown; will fit head circumference of 20” – 23” (50.5 cm – 58 cm).

130 yds (119 m) bulky weight #5 yarn (shown knitted in Maize, Willow Yarns Burrow, 75% acrylic, 25% wool, 131 yds/120 m per skein). Yardage includes yarn needed for 2.25 inch pom pom.
