The genus Bougainvillea, known by the common names of buganvilla, bugambilia, papelillo, Napoleón, trinitaria, veranera y brisa and santa Rita, is a genus of flowers of the Nyctaginaceae family originating in dry areas of South America.

Yarn
Approximately 50g of a DK weight yarn. The sample is knitted with 42g of Katia Merino Classic (240m / 262yds per 100g) Color 22, Maroon.

Gauge
20 sts and 25 rounds to 10cm / 4in over stockinette stitch, without stretching and after washing. Use 4.0mm / U.S. 6 needle as a starting point for swatching.

Needles and notions
