Bumble the Bee is buzzing around! Knit a bee using simple increases and decreases and knitted stripes, and the bee’s thumbs are knitted bobbles. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the bee is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Simply DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 30g in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, toy filling, and buttons for eyes.

SIZES
One size only - 21cm tall (including the antennae).

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
