A silent mix of humidity and coldness, the sky is blanketed with clouds that dissipate into mist. Thick, clumpy snowflakes drop steadily to the earth. The car’s tires crunch noisily on the snow. The roads are a mixture of brown and white- surprisingly driveable. As the road winds through the pines toward the resort, the mountain grows larger. Thin white lines etched across its surface grow wider, while skiers zip joyfully across the fresh powder. The air is surprisingly mild, and the chairlift is calling.

Hat is worked from the bottom up with options for a plain ribbed brim or a doubled rib brim.
Please note that crown decreases require you to work in pattern as established.
