It was pretty impossible to find a pattern for this hat that was knit rather than crocheted. I ended up making my own pattern using a variety of the ones available online…

Materials:
5 - 4mm DPN or small circular needle of same gauge with DPN for increase
1 - skein worsted weight yarn of select hair colour
2 - pieces of ribbon for top of pigtails
2 - pieces of scrap of a different colour to position pigtails
