This shawl is definitely eye pleasing, isn’t it?
It shows off beautiful repeating cables which interlock all along this rectangular shawl. They are framed by wonderful textures in the two seed stitch borders and a garter stitch edge on each side. The balance of the patterns is just lovely and the weight of this shawl, as the yarn used here has some heft to it, feels like a great big hug~

The measurements unblocked as shown are 46” in length and 18” in middle height. The knit kit has enough yarn to add a bit more length. If you prefer a longer shawl, more yarn will be needed.

The pattern is completely written and also offers a chart for the cables for your knitting pleasure.

Notions needed
US size 13 (9 mm) circular needle 32” (81 cm) in length.
Cable needle.
Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.

Gauge: 9 sts and 12 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch.

Techniques applied: Knitting and purling, cable knitting, binding off loosely, weaving in ends. Blocking is optional, the sample as shown was left unblocked for a more organic look.
