This shawl is pure comfort knitting. A favourite colour combination will chase away the winter blues. Relaxing garter stitch is an antidote to complicated projects.

This semicircular shawl is simple in design yet sophisticated to wear with an easy garter stitch body and an unusual pointed ruffle. Pull your two favourite skeins of sock yarn out of your stash and put them together in unexpected combinations.

The shawl blocks to an elongated semicircle, perfect for wrapping around the shoulders or for wearing around the neck as a scarf. The substantial ruffle gives this shawl a wonderful weight and rhythm.
