An easy, almost mindless project that knits up super quickly and is perfect for taking with you to knit while you have a beverage, chat with friends, watch TV, or whatever.

This hat is knit in the round on size 4 (3.5mm) needles using Fingering weight yarn.

Requires one colorway of yarn as shown. This pattern is designed to take advantage of self-striping yarn like Knit Picks Felici. Try it with other yarns to see what neat effect you can get!

This hat is stretchy and will fit most adults. It can be worn with back on the head so that there is room for the hat to slouch, or worn tight for a more traditional toque look.
