Who doesn’t love a cozy cardigan sweater? Now you can knit one in miniature. This quick knit can easily be customized. Add beads (as shown in the main photo), use unique buttons, add embroidery, knit pockets.

The cardigan is worked top down in one piece. The sleeves are placed on hold while the body is finished, then the sleeves are worked using magic loop.

The pattern is designed for either sock or sport weight yarn. You will also need stitch markers, stitch holders (or scrap yarn), buttons, needle and thread to sew the buttons, and a pipe cleaner for the hanger.

These cardigans make great ornaments but you can also use them to decorate gifts or a holiday table. With buttonholes to open and close the cardigan, you might even outfit a small doll.

I hope they bring joy!
