This pattern for a warm cabled stole is highly versatile. You can make it buttoned, as shown, and/or with additional buttons. Or you can leave it entirely plain, or you can add a simple edging. The buttons, should you choose them can be placed in any manner you like. Again, they can be as shown, or down the front. The instructions within the pattern accommodate all of the above.
The stole features both a cabled stitch and a textured stitch. The combination makes a striking stole that is both warm and attractive. You’ll be able to wear it into cool evenings.

The cable pattern can be made in a mirrored fashion, as shown, or simply repeated. Both charts are included in the pattern. The buttons are available from: https://www.etsy.com/shop/FlowertownOriginals

Skill Level Knitting for Stole: Intermediate (assuming a knowledge of cable knitting)
