This is a knitting pattern for this lovely carrot hat that can be completed in short time and do not require complicated skills. The knitting pattern includes sizes from new-born to adult and will make a cute last-minute gift with its easy-to-follow pattern.

The pattern gives rather an elastic piece so differences in cm’s are well tolerated between ages.

What I used:
•75 gr orange colored yarn I used weight 2, 100% acrylic yarn with 4 mm needles (17 x 24 stitches to obtain 10 cm x 10 cm, width height)
• 50 gr green yarn I used weight 2
• 25 gr (even less) brown (or white) yarn I used weight 2

Needles
• Circular 40 cm (/16’’) size 4 mm / US 6 / UK 8
• Double pointed needles size 4 mm / US 6/ UK 8 (or smaller), for stem

You can always use different weight yarn with appropriate needles and calculate/ adjust the number of stitches yourself or by using knitting calculator on internet.
