This scarf is worked starting at the bottom of the triangle and features a variation of Barbara Abbey’s Wide Open Diamond edging .
The lace edging is knitted at the same time as the body of the scarf and the “tails” are worked one at a time, shaped with short rows. This PDF contains a photo tutorial on wrapped short rows, both on right and wrong side rows.

Materials :
Fingering weight wool ( 420-450 m/100 g - 460-492yd/ 3.5oz): sample scarf knitted with approx. 413m/ 96g - 451.7yd/3.39oz of 100% superwash merino wool (430m/100g – 470.25yd/3.5oz).
Gauge :19st x 27rows on 10cm/4” - stockinette with twisted stitches
Needles size 4.00mm – US 6.
