My friend Caitlin stumbled upon this quick, easy method of making a knit bow. Sew it onto head bands or metal snap clips for a classic hair accessory, attach to a collar for an immediate pet fashion statement.

Knit in worsted weight yarn as directed this bow measures about 3.5 inches across, yarn and needle sizes can easily be substituted to produce a larger or smaller bow.

The pink bow pictured is made of Knit Picks Wool of the Andes, the blue bow is a worsted weight cotton. Whatever you choose to knit these with, these knit up quickly using very little yarn (about 20 yards) and are my go-to for quick gifts and outfit accessories.
