Stitches used in this pattern:
Ch -chain FO -Fasten off
MC -magic circle YO -Yarn over
Sl st -slip stitch INC -increase
SC -single crochet DEC -decrease
invSc2tog -invisible single crochet 2 together
st -stitch

Materials list:
• Yarn: I used Redheart sage but any green or yellow yarn, or combinations of the two is
acceptable
• Yarn size: Worsted weight (may use larger if you wish for a larger item, or fingering yarn for
smaller items)
• Hook size: G hook/4mm hook
• Fiber Fill
• Pipe cleaners or gardening wire
• 10mm-18mm Safety Eyes; I used 18mm for their larger appearance
Special instructions used in this pattern:
• Pipe cleaners or floral wire can be used in tail, tentacles, and wings to increase support
against gravity and allow for posing, but are especially necessary for the wings to
allow proper shaping and positioning
• To use pipe cleaners in tail and tentacles, place inside and stuff around them with fiber fill, for firmer movement firmer wire such as used in garden crafts may be
used and crocheted around with your yarn
• You may use multiple shades of green and yellow to blend together as you see fit
