Ceket is a long narrow triangle shaped garter stitch shawl/scarf, knitted sideways and top down, shaped with short rows. The last short row section is knitted in reverse garter stitch. The shawl is knitted holding one strand of lace wt and one strand of kidsilk.

You can play around with the shawl, knit stripes, knit every section in different colours, use different weight yarn to make it bigger, only your imagination is the limit.

Yarn:

The shawl is knitted holding two strands together, one lace and one kidsilk.

50 g of lace wt yarn (400 m/ 437 yds per 50 g) in two colours, 25 g of each.

The sample was knitted with Drops Lace (70% alpaca, 30% silk 400 m/50 g), Manos del Uruguay Lace (401m/50g) and Drops Kidsilk (75% mohair/ 25% silk, 218 m/25g).
