Description
This triangle shawl uses the sunset hues of Whirl yarn and a cable motif to make a beautiful statement. The shawl uses two basic cable stitches (video tutorials below), and single crochet stitches. The triangle shape is made by performing single crochet decreases at the left edge, to make an extended right angle triangle shape, with the cable motif along the vertical edge. The pattern comes with two stitch diagrams, video tutorials of the cable stitches, and a written pattern.

Materials
2 skeins of Scheepjes Whirl, color: Rosewater Cocktail (1000 meters per skein)

Supplies
3.5 mm Crochet Hook

Shawl Dimensions:
Women’s Small and Medium Sizes: 36.5 inches base and 43.5 inches height (triangle shaped). The pattern below is designed and detailed for these two sizes.

Women’s Large Size: This pattern does not explicitly detail a large size. However, with a few small modification it is possible. In particular, I would recommend adding 24 sc stitches to the triangle base, making the chain length 216 chains in Row 1. The pattern is decreased in width by 2 sc stitches every other row (effectively one stitch per row), to make the triangle shape. The cable pattern repeat is 12 rows. So the large size will add 24 rows (or two cable repeats) to the pattern detailed below for small and medium sizes.

Gauge:
5 sc stitches in one 1 inch across, 5 sc rows in one 1 inch high.
