I was inspired to make these play food chicken drumlets after I recalled, how as kids, we (my sister and I)used to crunch up scrap papers and newspapers to model them after real food. We had hours of fun playing cooking and we even pretended to be hawkers selling our self-made ‘delicacies’ :)

Kids these days are so fortunate to be able to play with ‘almost real’ fake food which can be made from plastic, dough, clay and yarn :)
