Crochet your own adorable tiger with stripes, cute paws and long tail in a sweet sitting position! This amigurumi tiger is the perfect gift for tiger lovers and those born in the Year of the Tiger!

Note that the free crochet pattern can be found HERE and has been divided into two blog posts since there are so many process photos:

Part 1 covers how to crochet the head, ears and body and can be found HERE!
Part 2 covers how to crochet the legs, arms, tail and assembly and can be found HERE.

I used approximately: 48 g/111 yds of Peach Coboo, 14 g/32 yds of Taupe Coboo, 9 g/21 yds of White Coboo, 1 g/2 yds of Pink Coboo (for the nose) and 2 g/5 yds of fluffy white yarn (Go For Faux in “Baked Alaska”) for the fur detailing on the sides of the head.

We started a fun tradition of designing the zodiac amigurumi of that year since January 2011. So far, we have: Lamb, Dragon, Rooster, Monkey, Pony, Snake, Rat, Dog, Chinese New Year Doll, Pig, Ox and now Tiger (we have one left to go: Rabbit)! They are all available as free patterns on my blog or as PDF’s here on Ravelry (condensed documents that contain all the step-by-step pictures). Enjoy these zodiac amigurumi designs!
