• These baskets are all knit in the round (the rectangles start with a flat base, with stitches picked up along the edges to create the sides)
• The stitches used are mostly stockinette (all knit when done in the round) with a bit of knit-purl texture as decorative edges on two of the baskets
• Slipped stitches for corners of the rectangles make for a more-defined edge/chain up the outside of the baskets
• A foam-board is cut to shape and inserted in the bottom to allow for basket stability. OPTIONALLY: cellophane gift bags are used for presenting the filled gift basket to dear friends)
