Sizes are baby, toddler, young adult and adult.
Big twist value yarn 100% acrylic #4 DK worsted weight is what I used in white, red, and green. About 50yds total depending on size you make. Optional add on: I used a small amount of faux fur yarn around the brim and to make a pom pom.

For Gauge:
Using 5.5mm hook
R1: Ch 15, hdc in 2nd ch & each ch across, turn
R2-8: ch1, hdc across

8 rows x 12hdc sts = 4”x4”
