Deck out all your bottles with funny reindeer beanies!
With the start of the holiday season and Christmas approaching rapidly, get into the festive knitting mood by making Christmas Bottle Beanies.

These bottle heads/hats make great, colorful Christmas ornaments. So give that bottle of wine (maybe the one you had lying around and has to do as a last minute Christmas gift…) a little Holiday Cheers!

Each beanie is a small, easy project, that can be finished in an evening or so. Only small amounts of yarns are needed, so a bottle beanie is a great project to use up any scraps and colors you have lying around.

These models measure 12 cm from top to bottom. The reindeer heads were on short 2.5 mm double pointed needles (US 1., UK 13)done in Rowan Felted Tweed (157) camel or (160) gilt the antlers in (175) cinnamon or (190) stone. Single threads from a strand of Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine were mixed or doubled for the outfits.
The beanies require knitting in the round or pocket style knitting (optional and tutorial included), intarsia colorwork and crocheting (chain stitches only).

Happy Holidays, Viv
