YARN USED FOR SAMPLE

  • Main Color (green used in sample): - 85% wool—15% mohair 3.5 ounces (100 grams)—190 yards (173 meters) each pull skein 2 pull skeins Brown Sheep’s Lamb’s Pride Worsted approximately 250 yards (228 meters) worsted

  • Contrasting Color(red used in sample): 1 pull skein or approximately 75 yards (68 meters)

  • Tapestry Yarn(gold used in the sample)1 small skein of 4 ply for cross stitch

For your stocking to be the correct size, it is not the brand of yarn that matters, but the GAUGE that is important. It is best to refer to the yardage to determine how many skeins or balls to purchase.
