I have used 7mm & 9mm with 4 strands (2 strands of Aran & 2 strands of 3 ply) held together deliberately to create a warmer denser product which will not lose it’s shape in the wash. I do not block cabled creations. I personally feel it spoils the look. Only 2 balls of aran & around 400 gms of mixed blue Oswal Micro Rangoli 3 ply were used.There are knitting patterns in me which want to be told! Exclusive. Exquisite. Enchanting.
