This cute beret and matching button neckwarmer are made with bulky weight (size 5) yarn and a large crochet hook (Size N – 9 mm). The large hook makes this a quick project. The stitches used are chain, slip stitch, single crochet, double crochet, double crochet two together and front post half double crochet. Both pieces are worked in the round. The yarn used in this project is Charisma by Loops and Threads.

Materials:
Loops and Threads Charisma – 2 skeins (will make both pieces)
Crochet Hook: Size N – 9mm
Yarn needle for weaving in ends and sewing on button
1” or 1 ¼” button

Stitches used:
CH – Chain
DC – Double Crochet
DC2TOG – Double Crochet Two Together (also called decrease)
FPHDC – Front Post Half Double Crochet
SC – Single Crochet
Shell – 3, 5 or 7 DC worked in the same stitch (pattern will specify number)
