Clarissa shawl

A vivid look and lively colors in a super easy to knit shawl. As shown here the colors changes and textures make this piece really come alive. The shawl sort of curves with the bottom being wider then the top. Simple garter stitches delight and grow this project pretty quickly too.

The pattern is fully written. The blocked shawl measures 8 feet along the bottom edge, 42” along the top edge and 8” in middle height.

Notions needed
US size 6 (4 mm) circular needle 32” (81 cm) in length.
Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.

Gauge
13 sts and 26 rows in 4” of garter stitch, counting 13 ridges, blocked.

Techniques applied
Knitting, decreasing, changing colors/yarns if not working with Lofty skein, stretchy bind off, weaving in ends and blocking for best results.
