Clio is an asymmetrical triangle shawl, knit end to end increasing as you go and designed to make maximum use of a beautiful skein of hand dyed gradient style yarn.

Clio is written in two sizes.
The small size uses 100g of 4ply/fingering weight yarn to make a scarf/shawlette, while the large is a great big snuggly shawl/wrap using 200g.
Small/100g: approx 125cm x 75cm
Large/200g: approx 260cm x 100cm

The lace pattern is a sister (similar but tweaked to make wrong side rows simple and restful) to Hollyberry’s Lucille and Lucy Vella
patterns and flows from the rhythmic repeated lace of the body to a stunning full lace border, with the option to knit a few extra rows to use up every last bit of your precious skein/s.

Clio would also look stunning in a semi-solid or solid dyed yarn of similar yardage in natural fibres that are able to be blocked.

The pattern includes written directions and charts for the lace
