The mitten has a ribbed cuff, peasant thumb, and is knit with the mosaic motif called “Two stitch check”. Detailed instructions for mosaic knitting are included.

The yarn is a 2-ply Clun Forest, worsted weight (250 yds / 100+grams). It is dyed in small batches with natural dyes by The Layzee Farmer.

The size small uses about 40 grams of natural and 40 of one color.
