This project is named for the Colca Canyon near Arequipa, Peru, home of Amano Yarns. The people of Amano find their inspiration in the natural resources of the Peruvian Andes. The Andes is not only the land of the alpacas, but it is where they create, develop and produce their yarns with decades of experience and great pride.

The Colca Cowl is knit flat in one piece forming a triangle. A single seam transforms this triangle into a cowl.
