An easy to wear sweater that can be made suitable for Summer or Winter by varying the yarn choice and sleeve length.
This garment has no waist shaping and a boxy, slightly cropped, shape; worn with positive ease for a comfortable fit. It is knit in one piece from the neck down and therefore it is easy to adjust the length to suit by trying on while the work is in progress.
The bracelet length sleeves are worked down in the round, using magic loop or DPNs, and again are easily adjustable.
Thebroad hem and cuff are finished with Seed (Moss) stitch and the neck with reverse stocking stitch. A simple yarn over pattern adds detail on the raglan, side and sleeve seams.
The yarn used for the sample was a cotton worsted/aran weight which is no longer available but there are many suitable substitutes.
