Corn Field Washcloth
This textured washcloth is a great project for all those random scraps of cotton you have laying around.
While it can be made in just a few hours, it is also a very fun stitch pattern to knit up; made of just simple knits and purls!
Yarn: any DK/worsted cotton or cotton blend yarn, about 65-70 yards or less. I used Lily Sugar ‘n’ Creme Solids. Use any colors you would like!
Needles: size 5 US circular or straight knitting needles
Gauge: 4 sts and 7 rows over 1 inch in stitch pattern
Note: the gauge is not crucial at all, unless you would like your washcloth/dishcloth to be the exact same size as my sample is.
(I mean, let’s be honest. Who in the world would check their gauge for a scrappy washcloth like this? I wouldn’t, haha ;)
