A blanket for those who don’t want to cast on or bind off hundreds of stitches! Instructions include throw-size and baby-size.

The piece is knit from one corner to the other, using yarn overs to increase the number of stitches and using directional decreases to decrease the number of stitches. The blanket consists of alternating stripes of geometric patterns (checkers, triangles, Pythagorean triangles, and parallelograms) and garter patterns (plain and lace), all using simple knit, purl, and lace stitches.

Written instructions with photos. Charts are provided for the geometric and garter patterns.
