About the Knitting Pattern
The Cornflower Picot Dress is worked in double knitting (DK) wool and designed to fit little ones from newborn up to 7 years old. The silhouette is simple and timeless, allowing the textures to shine while keeping the garment easy to wear. Moss stitch frames the design around the armholes and hemline, both finished with delicate picot edges. The body of the dress is worked in smooth stocking stitch for a clean, elegant drape. Design Details
The front and back are knitted separately on straight needles and sewn together at the shoulders. Stitches are then picked up to complete the neckline and armhole edges.

Yarn
This pattern uses double knitting (DK) wool. For overseas knitters, suitable equivalents include USA Light Worsted or Australian 8 ply. The sample shown is knitted in Sirdar Snuggly DK, shade Denim Blue (0326).
