Supplies:

• worsted weight yarn
• 3 ply needlepoint yarn (or leftover yarn in DK or worsted weight
• Knitting needles, U.S. size 8 (or size needed to obtain gauge) (US size 7 for kids mitts) Crochet hook U.S. size H (US size 7 for kids mitts)

Gauge:
Eighteen to 20 stitches equals four inches in garter.

Seaming is done with crochet in a contrast color.
