This slipped stitch cowl is easy and quick to knit in the round on size 11 needles. Dimensions are 25 inches in circumference and 8 inches high. It does require two full skeins of the lovely soft Chalet yarn of contrasting colors. There was only a small amount of yarn remaining after the cowl was finished.

But any soft bulky yarn that knits to the gauge would work. The size of the cowl can easily be adjusted by adding or subtracting the multiple of 4 and knitting more or fewer rounds before binding off. If you decide to make the cowl larger, you will definitely need to increase the amount of yarn you buy.

If you have not tried slipped stitch color work before, this cowl would make a good introductory project.
