Perfect for summer! This light-weight, openwork shawl will enhance your wardrobe without breaking a sweat.

This simple pattern has a two-row repeat that’s easy enough for a beginner to follow without being too boring for a pro. It uses only one skein, yet blocks out to a very generous size. Wear as a breezy summer shawl, or bunch up around your neck as a scarf for some comforting warmth.

Crazy Eights also works up crazy fast--perfect for a weekend project or a last-minute gift!

Designer’s note: Feel free to use more yarn to make it bigger if you like. The yarn I used was a single (unplied), and I blocked this shawl within an inch of its life, so it got plenty big enough to suit me with just the one skein.

FiberSpider has done another video tutorial for anyone who learns better by seeing something being done than they do from patterns or charts.

Items made from my patterns are intended for personal use, sale, or world domination--as long as I get a parking space wherever I want once the world is yours.
