With this crochet pattern, you can make yourself a crochet hook case with the beautiful starstitch.

Use & Adjustable
You could also use it as a pen case or a case for whatever you want to put in it. The pattern is adjustable in size, so you could even make it a tablet case if you want to! Or, if you have a ton of large crochet hooks, you can easily adjust the pattern so they all fit nicely.

Skill level
Intermediate: basic knowledge of different crochet stitches is required. The starstitch itself is explained in the pattern. It is not as complicated as it may look.

Yarn
I used about 25 g of fine cotton yarn. I like to use Schachenmayr Catania or Scheepjes Catona yarn, but you can use any fine yarn. As this is supposed to be a utensil, I recommend a sturdy, non fluffy yarn so that it will last.

Free Gift Labels
If you are planning on making this case as a gift, Home of Yarns also has a gift for you! You get free printable gift labels and wraps to make your gift look even more awesome.

Languages
This pattern is available in 4 languages: UK English, USA English, German (Deutsch) and Dutch (Nederlands)!

Color blind friendly
I made an effort to make all of the Home of Yarns patterns color blind friendly, with dark text on a white background and if a chart is included, it is always in addition to written out instructions. For the charts, I use symbols in either black and white or other highly contrasting color combinations. I am quite positive that I did a good job, but I am no expert on color blindness. If you need any assistance reading the pattern, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me and I will be happy to help you out.
