Scottish Hap
A free version is also available.
A Scottish Hap is a heavy shawl worked in a square and folded over on the diagonal. Traditionally it was also used as a lapghan or baby blanket. The Scottish Hap is unique in its structure in that it is first worked as a solid square. Afterward an extended lace edging is added.
