Gold beads trim the edges of this lovely, delicate lace pattern that is reminiscent of crowns and petticoats. The gold beads are placed half-way down the lace, and then again at the very edge. A lovely collar-like necklace that is classic, elegant and yet, very modern!

The beads are placed as you go, so you can really deck it out if you want a fancier, bead-laden collar, just remember to have more beads on hand. The chart shows where to place beads so just play with adding extra and multiply by 4 for the finished necklace!

The sample is knit with Spring Gate Farm’s 100% cashmere. The beads are from Earth Faire (52 size 8 gold).

The directions for the pattern stitch are both written and charted.
