Pay What Works

Accessibility is something that is very important to me which is why I am offering the ‘Pay What Works’ model for my patterns.

This allows for flexibility financially, while still valuing the work that goes into making these patterns a reality.

The price shown here on Ravelry is the ’true’ cost of the pattern and reflects the work that went into this design.

My girls are at an age right now where they get really excited by the idea of wearing matching clothing. Being 8 and 2 years old, this doesn’t happen in mainstream clothing stores and my eldest daughter has said a few times “I wish they made that in my size, then we could match.”

I decided that this year, I would grant them their wish and design a cowl for toddlers, children and adults. Now we can all match…if we want to!

As this design was inspired by my girls, it only seemed right that they got the opportunity to name it too. I asked them for ideas and my eldest daughter told me that the ribbing, leading into the design reminded her of a cupcake. The ‘Cupcake Cowl’ was born!
