Cuppa Tea Socks
Cuppa Tea socks are all my favorite basic sock elements; 1x1 ribbing, eye of partridge heel, and a round toe. A simple slipped stitch along the back is a nod to 40s and 50s fashion, another favorite!
This pattern can be worked in a single color, with a contrasting heel and toe, or even in stripes, but variegated and heavily speckled yarns will drown out the slipped stitch detail. The pattern is available in 5 sizes and only needs 100g or less of fingering weight yarn.
About the yarn (from the Refracted Light Fiber Arts website)
Edoras Fingering
This 100% BFL yarn has a wonderfully soft yet woolly character. With its 4-ply construction, it is great for socks or sweaters and will provide good stitch definition for highly textured stitches.
Composition: 100% British Superwash Bluefaced Leicester Lustre Wool (26 Microns)
Yarn Weight: fingering weight, 4 ply worsted spun
Meterage: approx 400m (437 yards) per 100gm hank
