My nieces all loved the Cuppycake song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12Z6pWhM6TA

They would sing it all the time. So when I decided to make a cupcake hat I knew I would call it Cuppycake and that they would all have to have one. There are several cute cupcake patterns on here, but I really wanted a swirl effect on mine. I thought I would share it with all of you in case you do too.

The Cuppycake hat is knit in the round with no seaming. I wanted something that I didn’t have to go back and sew after I had finished knitting.. I have included pictures at the end of the pattern to help with the part that might be considered a bit tricky. I put them all at the end in case you want to print out the pattern without the pictures to save on ink.

The Cuppycake hat is really stretchy so will fit almost everyone, however for an adult you may want to add a couple of inches of height for a more comfortable fit. I would add an inch to the ribbing and an inch to the crown design to upsize.

If you find any mistakes or have any questions please message me :)

Happy knitting!
