It is Clue 7 time for the Perfect Blend MKAL! If you bought the pattern for The Perfect Blend, this has been placed in your library already as Clue 7 so do not purchase it!

But for those who did not buy that pattern, this is a GREAT scrappy cowl which is perfect for those tiny remnants that we all have floating around the place!

The cowl is knit from the top down with a neutral colored full skein of sock yarn for the Main Color. The cowl widens out early on to increase from 24” to around 31”.

Materials

Main Color

One 400 yards skein of fingering weight yarn (shown in Miss Babs Yummy 2-ply in Thunderstorm) - a neutral to set off all of your colors is suggested.

Scrap Yarn

12 samples of scrap yarn, amounts given below in grams. You can use gradients, 12 different colors from the Perfect Blend sets or your 4 colored Perfect Blend sets, in the order you used for the MKAL.

Color 1 - 2g Color 2 – 2g Color 3 – 8g Color 4 – 5g
Color 5 – 10g Color 6 – 4g Color 7 – 8g Color 8 – 5g
Color 9 – 8g Color 10 – 6g Color 11 - 9g Color 12 – 11g

Note that the photo will be uploaded on Saturday - but does not show the pattern very well on purpose as I wanted it to be at least a “semi-mystery” for those doing Clue 7 - but just for another week or so.

Final Measurements

21” long X 31” wide at bottom (24” wide at top.)
