After seeing many recent projects, I have decided to follow the trends I’m seeing from some very creative and talented knitters!

  • classic ribbed edge
  • stripe added for interest
  • worsted weight yarn
  • normal gauge

The pattern includes charts for the male and female versions of the cyclist (the female has smaller feet, a tiny waist, and a ponytail!).

Sizes: Adult S/M and Adult L.

Yarn type: Worsted weight yarn preferably in 3 solid or semi-solid colors. If you would like to use self-striping yarn, it is best used for the cyclist motif.

Yarn requirements:
Size S/M: Approximately 45 gm for MC, 15 gm for CC1 (cyclist), and 15 gm for CC2 (stripe).
Size M/L: Approximately 50 gm for MC, 20 gm for CC1 (cyclist), and 20 gm for CC2 (stripe).

Needle: US 6/4 mm

Notions: 12 stitch markers in 2 different colors, tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows = 4 in/10 cm
