The DAGMAR SHAWL has a classical triangular shape and a zigzag border at the end as additional eye-catcher.

Three different colored skeins are being used, first for the 6-row pattern for the body pattern. By increasing 4 stitches every other row the shawl grows. The last rows will form smaller triangles to create an exciting zigzag border. Many increases let the rows zigzag up and down and additional short rows let the triangles grow.

Everything is done in Garter Stitch until the base pattern creates a finishing line at the end of the border. This task is most exciting because it releases the beautiful zigzags for the first time. The yarn is very soft, because the merino fibers are only 19.5 micron thick and the special treatment makes the shawl machine washable.
