“At this time of year the roadsides in Gloucestershire are covered in masses of beautiful big white daisies and these sweet flowers have inspired this crochet motif. The Daisy motif works well on its own or joined together in rows or clusters to create a range of projects perfect for summertime decorating or celebrations. You’ll find some of my project ideas on the last page of the pattern.”

You will need:
Drops Muskat Cotton in White (18) and Vanilla Yellow (30)
4 mm crochet hook

UK Crochet Terms used in this pattern:
Ch = Chain
Tr = Treble
SS/SC = Slip Stitch/Single Crochet
DC = Double Crochet

I have listed the yarn I used to create this design, however Daisy can easily be worked in whichever yarn you choose depending on it’s suitability for the project you would like to create using this motif. This is especially so if you wish to make a shawl where a cotton yarn would be too stiff.
