dare mighty things
On February 18th, 2021, the Perseverance rover landed on Mars after a 203-day journey through space to start its mission looking for signs of life. Launched and landed within a pandemic that has changed our Earth as we knew it, this rover is named (by a 7th grader) for the resilience of the human spirit and our adaptivity. The stunning images of the parachute as the rover descended sent us another message – one looking forward to the future: to dream. So, here’s to choosing to dare mighty things, both for engineering feats and for our communities as we come out of this transformative event on our planet.
These mitts are inspired by this message and to the great nerdy delight in wearing a piece of history and science on our hands.
