As the weather warms and spring flowers emerge it’s hard not to feel uplifted and inspired. This pretty little shawl is a quick and easy project full of spring inspiration. The pretty lace edge looks like flowers in bloom and the garter stitch body will highlight any pretty colour of yarn. Choose a skein and let the yarn uplift you as the flower motif grows. This sideways shawl is worked from end to end and is a perfect one-skein project. Or, use any amount of yarn you have on hand.

This pattern is written for one skein of Hedgehog Fibres Sock Yarn and is shown here in Butter.

Finished Measurements: Approximately 16.5 inches (42 cm) deep at middle point and 82 inches (208 cm) long across top edge, blocked.

Skills required: Increasing, decreasing, knitting lace, blocking your shawl. Stitches used: k, p, kfb, k2tog, SKP, SK2P, yo.

Pattern includes both written and charted instructions, list of abbreviations, diagram, and notes.
