There are two reasons why this is called DECIDE

1. There are many variations so you have to decide how you are going to use it.
2. The word DECIDE is the same when you turn it upside down. So is this hat or cowl. The inside is the same as the outside and it looks the same whether you look at it from the top or the bottom. Turn it any which way and it will always look the same.

The yellow and green hats use exactly one 50 gram ball of yarn. The pink hat uses one 100 gram ball.

This is an extremely versatile hat, headband, cowl or snood. It is very stretchy and can change between one thing and another, and back again, at will. You will probably find even more possibilities than I have shown.
