Deery Me it’s December! All Deery Me designs are 20% off from now until December 25th.

Deery Me Mittens is an enDEERing winter knit. Stranded knitting in fingering yarn makes these mittens surprisingly light and surprisingly warm. The classic stag-head patterning makes them a stylish staple for your winter wardrobe.

Knit bottom up, Deery Me Mittens have a side thumb-gusset and identical patterns on front and back. The thumb is picked up afterwards and charted separately.

Notes:

These mittens are meant to fit a small child or a medium adult hand with a finished circumference of 5.5 (8)”. However, a change of gauge will allow you to alter the sizing (this is also detailed in the pattern itself).

  • Smaller: At a gauge of 36 stitches / 4 inches the mitten will have a
    circumference of 5 (7)”.

  • Larger: At a gauge of 28 stitches / 4 inches the mitten will have a circumference of 6.5 (9)”

Yardage: (Main / Secondary)

MC 70, 200
SC 40, 110

Please note: the yardage will vary slightly if you knit at a smaller or larger gauge.

You can also whip up a Deery Me Hat (in sizes baby to adult large) or a Deery Me Jumper (in sizes baby - 4 years), or even an adult sweater for those who can’t resist a matching set!
